I love my digital camera. But these…  Make me pine for film.

And for the directness of the Pentax K1000.  And for that f1.4 lens.  Eye, Glass, Shutter, Film.

You can go there in digital, if you’re willing to spend five grand and carry a heavy full-frame DSLR.  But these were taken on a $100 used camera, with a $150 used lens on it.

Sort of a chinese version  of duck duck goose.

This is a recording of Isaiah’s first grade class performing a song they worked out in music class.  It was part of the Starr King fall holidays performance program.
